This quarter (Fall) focuses on socio-political and technical innovations accompanying the rise of global civil society, reviews "best practices" and explores the intersection of social networks, coalitions and movements. Key concepts are: globalization, global inequalities and political economy, transnational advocacy networks, participatory action research, innovation in project design and how to use ICTs to solve social issues/problems and create new opportunities.
